Conduct comprehensive behavioral evaluations using case history, structured observation, and functional analysis to identify contributing factors and guide effective intervention.
Develop, implement, and oversee long-term behavior modification programs while evaluating progress and adjusting treatment strategies as needed.
Apply ethical reasoning and evidence-based decision-making to complex behavioral cases while prioritizing animal welfare and client success.
Demonstrate leadership within the profession through mentoring, education, collaboration, and the advancement of ethical behavior practice.
Applicants must demonstrate:
Demonstrated experience managing behavior
modification cases
Minimum of 3 years of documented professional
experience in canine behavior or behavior consulting
Evidence of advanced professional competency in
canine behavior assessment and case management
Agreement to uphold the Board's Code of Ethics
Successful completion of the SCBC examination
